Exactly what happens
when you work with us.
Six phases. Clear deliverables at every stage. Decision gates where you actually get to decide. Payment milestones tied to real outcomes, not arbitrary dates. This is what partnership looks like when a manufacturer respects your launch.
Intake
No NDAs. No spec sheets. Just a conversation.
A 30-minute call with a member of our R&D or commercial team. We ask about your brand, your target customer, your margin targets, your distribution plan, and your regulatory risk tolerance. At the end, you get honest answers — whether the project is feasible, what the likely MOQ and cost structure look like, and whether we're the right partner or whether you should look elsewhere.
- Feasibility memo
- Cost model with volume tiers
- Suggested formulation direction
- Regulatory pathway assessment
- Honest competitive positioning view
You decide if we're the right fit. No pressure to continue.
Kickoff & brief lock
We write it down so nobody is surprised later.
Signed statement of work, formulation brief lock, packaging direction agreed, regulatory strategy confirmed. You meet your project team — a lead formulator, a regulatory analyst, and a commercial project manager who is your single point of contact. Everything from this point forward is tracked in a shared project workspace you can access 24/7.
- Signed statement of work
- Locked formulation brief
- Project team introductions
- Access to shared project workspace
- Milestone and payment schedule
First payment milestone (typically 25%).
R&D and first samples
Actives, flavor, texture — dialed in the lab.
Our formulators build the first round of lab samples. You receive 2–4 formulation variations on week 2 for taste and efficacy review, along with the technical specs for each. We iterate based on your feedback in a structured cycle — typically 2–3 rounds before final lock.
- 2–4 formulation samples shipped
- Spec sheet per variation
- Structured feedback form
- Taste panel data if requested
- Recommended formulation with rationale
You approve the final formulation.
Design, regulatory, and stability
In parallel, so nothing waits.
Three workstreams run simultaneously. Design delivers packaging concepts, label systems, and retail mockups. Regulatory finalizes claims, warnings, and jurisdiction-specific requirements. Stability testing begins in our chambers — accelerated protocols give 6-month projections within 30 days.
- Packaging design concepts
- Label files ready for print
- Regulatory review sign-off
- Stability protocol initiated
- Production scheduling confirmed
Second payment milestone. Design and labels approved.
Production
Pharma-grade execution.
Your product runs on dedicated lines with full batch documentation. Real-time production updates delivered to your project workspace. Every batch passes in-house analytical testing before release. COAs, stability data, and environmental monitoring reports arrive with the shipment — not as an afterthought.
- Full production run complete
- Certificates of analysis
- Batch records and retention samples
- Environmental monitoring report
- Release inspection sign-off
Final payment milestone. Goods released for shipment.
Fulfillment and reorder
From shipment to steady state.
Inventory lands in your 3PL, your retail DC, or ours. Reorder cycles are scheduled based on your sell-through data — you never run out, and you're never sitting on six months of stock. As you scale, we co-plan capacity for new SKUs, new packaging, and new markets.
- Inventory delivered and confirmed
- Reorder cadence scheduled
- 3PL or retail integration complete
- Quarterly business review calendar
- Roadmap for SKU expansion
Ongoing partnership. No re-qualification of supplier mid-growth.
How we work with partners.
You own the formulation
Custom R&D work is documented as your intellectual property. Exclusivity windows on novel actives and flavor systems are standard.
Pricing is transparent
You see the per-can cost breakdown — ingredients, packaging, labor, overhead. No hidden margins, no surprise "material cost adjustments" mid-run.
Timelines are binding
Delivery dates in the statement of work are commitments, not estimates. If we miss a milestone on our side, it's on us to make it right.
Communication is structured
You have a single point of contact who responds within one business day. Escalations reach leadership directly — no account manager gatekeeping.
Quality is non-negotiable
Every batch passes analytical release testing before it ships. If a lot fails spec, it doesn't leave the facility. We'd rather explain a delay than apologize for a recall.
Let's make something.
A 30-minute call with our team tells you more than any RFP.
